The wider Yorkshire area is home to so many amazing venues for weddings and other occasions, which makes my job ea\sier being a wedding photographer Yorkshire! The amazing countryside and high number of beautiful buildings.

Rudding Park

The Grade 1 listed Regency House, 19th Century chapel, landscaped gardens and mautre woodlond make Rudding Park one of the most idyllic wedding venues in Yorkshire. It is also a hotel wedding venue with a difference; you can walk down the aisle of our 19th century Chapel framed by beautiful stone carvings and striking stained glass windows. The fine stone carvings are the work of Italian stonemasons and were completed in 1879. The Chapel is ideal for wedding blessings and is located close to the Regency period house with its mature gardens.

The Lion, Burnsall

The 16th Century country inn id idyllically situated on the banks of the River Wharfe, in picturesque Burnsall, which still retains the atmosphere of the quintessential English village. There is a terrace or garden and riverside rooms which can accommodate 10-120 guests. The lawns and terraces which run down to and border the river forming the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.

The Craiglands Hotel

The Craiglands Hotel is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture, built in 1859 and set within 6 acres of beautiful moorland, woods and manicured grounds offering the ideal views to include in any gorgeous wedding album. The Ilkley Moors are attached to the hotel and the air is wonderful for the soul.

Licensed for civil ceremonies in a choice of 5 beautiful rooms. The Ballroom is a beautiful grand room with tall ceilings, detailed coving and manelled surround, crystal chandeliers and a 60 foot long dance floor makes the ideal walk way for that all important bridal runway.

The Moorside Restaurant is located in the side elevation of the hotel, this stunning room with high ceilings, feature lighting and floor to ceiling windows which overlook the Rose Garden to the side, this is a perfect setting for an array of different photographs. The conservatory is located at the quiet end of the hotel. Surrounded by glass, the Conservatory offers an intimate room for your wedding with panoramic views of the Moors.

Owston Hall

Dating back to the Doomsday Book, Owston Hall was sympathetically restored in 1996. Civil ceremonies are licensed to be held in the De-Lacey suite for up to 70 guests.

Owston Hall is a Historic Listed Building and the addition of 18 Executive Bedrooms in 2007 had to be developed within rules laid down by English Heritage. The building rests gently and sympathetically with the original country house and old hall, while the interior offers the discerning guest the best in both comfort and the latest facilities.

Harewood House

Harewood House and its captivating gardens sit amongst over 1000 acres of delightful ornamental parkland; and offers couples the opportunity to enjoy their wedding celebration in one of the most romantic settings imaginable. This evocative venue offers breathtaking views across rolling countryside, delightful woodland, the enchanting lake and Harewood House itself. Harewood House offers couples a wedding day they will never forget. You and your guests will arrive up the sweeping drive, building up anticipation; you can take your wedding photographs in the wonderful gardens creating stunning visual memories.

Harewood is blessed with two wonderful venues onsite that fit the bill - each distinctive and in its own way unique.

The Courtyard provides a beautiful setting for a wedding celebration - its dramatic architecture creating an ideal enclosed ‘theatre’ for your special day: the historic colonnade and enclosed courtyard provide an intimate backdrop, and a wonderful location for a summer buffet or barbecue; the Lakeside Terrace a stunning space for drinks; the Suites each distinctive in character for the wedding breakfast and party.

The elegant and modern Pavilion is located close to the fifteenth-century All Saints church on the estate. Directly facing Harewood House, the Pavilion has windows running its full length ensuring each of your guests will have a picture perfect view. This is a fantastic space, with high ceilings, ivory draped walls and cut glass chandeliers. It is an impressive and exceptional venue to host your wedding celebrations.

As you can see from the range of venues described above Yorkshire has something to offer to all tastes, all sizes and all budgets and each and every venue has the ability to get some fantastic images which will help you remember your special day for many years to come.
